Re: AGA Basic Traning: Flanking
Excellent video. Loved the editing and use of different clips. Seems the best players are so often a bit careful and dont just storm in like some..... :/
Its Often hard to know when to charge in or find another way round. I often think of this after I have charged in!
I'm going to try and think about this more. I think these types of approaches are def what would improve my scores. Cheers.

Re: AGA Basic Traning: Flanking
This is a very effective strategy, but it does take some thinking to pull off. Great tips on how to do it.
This is why I use Dead Silence on some of my classes. It lets me get in behind them a little easier. I have also found that flanking is best done alone or with one other team member at most. The rest stay in front to draw their attention and you come from behind and take them out.

I have been using Sitrep Pro pretty effectively since it gives me a clearer audial image (hearing) of where the enemy are.
Fantastic lesson!

Re: AGA Basic Traning: Flanking
One add....I flank all the time...but the "live to fight another day" is one I have a hard time with. Rather than Kim realizing certain death awaited him in the tower, I would've rushed in and taken my chances.....this is something I really need to work on in my game. Once again....keep up the good work!!

Some more great tips Jay, I try and flank whenever I can its easier to get the kill when they aren't looking.

Excellent vid Jay. A lot of people stereotype all R&G players as being mindless. Some are but being a flank style player, there is much more strategy involved than most realize.

Another great video Jay. Although I haven't played much MW3 I found myself using your reload from prone and strafing through cover alot this past weekend on BF3. I only went 1 or 2 matches with a negative K/D and they werent by much.

Re: AGA Basic Traning: Flanking
Thanks everybody for watching, and all the comments!
You know, Tracy mentioned that some people stereotype R&G gameplay as being mindless, but there is so much going on there that you can't really see unless you already know what you are looking for. All most people see is someone running around and getting what looks like a bunch of "lucky" kills.
Any of these tactics, when done right are gonna result in more kills and less deaths. I guarantee it.
And as Joe was saying, most of this stuff applies to any FPS game, not just COD. It's all relative, and it's all about doing the little things.
Thanks again guys!
